Our spring IIJS Film Series continues with a screening and Q&A for All I Can Do, the debut feature film of writer and director Shiri Nevo Fridental.
Fridental’s short film debut, The Prosecution, was featured in the 2015 Tel Aviv International Film Festival. All I Can Do debuted at the 2022 Jerusalem Film Festival as a candidate for the Haggiag Competition for Israeli Feature Films.
In All I Can Do, Reut, an ambitious, young prosecutor, takes on a sexual assault case based on the sole testimony of Efrat, the volatile accuser. The experience leads Reut to reevaluate her career goals and her relationship with her mother. (87 minutes)
This film includes courtroom descriptions of sexual assault and combative questioning, but no visual depictions of it.
