Screen the film at home and join us for a virtual Q&A with Orit Fouks Rotem (writer/director).
We are thrilled to share Film@IIJS with you at this time. The Q&A will not have any screenings in real time; rather a link to stream the film from home will be made available to you prior to the Q&A session and will only be available until the Q&A event. If you have any questions, please email iijs@columbia.edu.
[Please note: at this time, only residents of the United States will be able to stream the film.]
Dana Ivgy ("Zero Motivation") leads a cast of professionals and untrained actors in this documentary-style feature. Nine women, Arab and Jewish, take part in a video workshop to learn how to document their lives, hosted by a young film director named Rona. As the women begin to film their lives and share their raw footage with the rest of the group, the group dynamic shifts, forcing each of them to challenge their views and beliefs as they get to know one another and themselves better.

While all Institute events are free and open to the public, we do encourage a suggested donation of $10.
