The annual Norman E. Alexander Lecture in Jewish Studies this year be given by David Ruderman, Joseph Meyerhoff Professor of Modern Jewish History, University of Pennsylvania. He will be speaking on the topic of "Missionaries, Meshumadim, and Maskilim: An Entangled History of Christians, Jews and Those In Between in Nineteenth- Century Europe."
