Sheridan holds a BA in English from Columbia University and a BA in Modern Jewish Studies from the Jewish Theological Seminary where she recieved the Rosalyn Gooen Milians Educational Award. She received the William Davidson Fellowship which allowed her to pursue an MA in Jewish Education (JTS '05). She has served as the Director of Teen Community Services at Sid Jacobson Jewish Community Center, where she was also the Director of the Community Service Summer Experience, and as the Education Coordinator for the Department of Youth Activities at the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism where she served as the Editor of Moadim L'Simcha: A Book on the Jewish Calendar and Holidays as well as the managing editor of the quarterly news and literary magazines. She is grateful to have this opportunity to return to Columbia Unversity.
